Mobile Legends Ixia: Hero overview, skill analysis and release date

Read about the brand-new hero in the Advanced Server!

Mobile Legends released its 121st hero, Ixia on its Advanced server on April 24th, 2023 with the Patch 1.7.78 Update. This hero, Ixia is a marksman and is known for her massive damage and great sustainability. Ixia mainly deals physical damage while holding the bot or gold lane. She has some great crowd-control abilities, which make her unique. So without further ado, let’s just analyse her skill set to understand what she is capable of.

Mobile Legends Ixia: Abilities

She generally has four skills, among which one is passive and the other three are active.

Passive – Arc Siphon (Damage, Heal)

Mobile Legends Patch 1.7.78 Update

This skill is her key to regenerating health, which makes her a sustainable hero on the battlefield. Whenever Ixia attacks with her basic skill set, this will add a stack of Arc Charge to enemies upon a successful hit.

When it reaches 2 stacks and then she again attacks with her basic attack, it will consume those and turn into an Arc Siphon, dealing (100% Total Physical Attack) (+ 20000% Physical Lifesteal) + 40 (+20* Hero Level) amount of physical damage, while reducing the enemy’s movement speed for the next 1.5 seconds by 40%. One must remember, Arc Siphon only works on enemies who are within her basic attack range.

Skill 1 – Dual Arc (Burst)

CD – 8/7.6/7.2/6.8/6.4/6
Mana Cost – 40/45/50/55/60/65

Upon casting, Ixia fires two Arclight rounds in the designated direction at the enemies in a rectangular-shaped area while dealing 150 (+80% Total Physical Attack) (+8000% Physical Lifesteal) /180/210/240/270/300 amount of physical Damage. In this state, Ixia is buffed with 40% movement speed for the next 3 seconds, and enemies who are hit by both rounds of Ixia will receive double damage.

Skill 2 – Arc Helix (Crowd Control)

CD – 12/11.6/11.2/10.8/10.4/10
Mana Cost – 75/80/85/90/95/100

Upon casting, Ixia launches an energy beam in a cylindrical-shaped area, pulling all the enemies to the center after a short delay while dealing 200 (+60% Total Physical Attack) (+120000% Physical Lifesteal) /200/220/240/260/280/300 amount of physical damage.

Skill 3 – Arclight Barrage (Area of Effect)

Mobile Legends Patch 1.7.78 Update

CD – 38/35/32
Mana Cost – 75/90/105

This final skill has two phases. One is active, and another is passive.

  • Passive: When she is not engaging in any kind of combat, her movement speed will increase automatically (capped at 30%). This effect will end immediately whenever she indulges herself in battle.
  • Active: Upon casting, she will divide her cannons into six smaller parts and create a triangular-shaped area. In this state, Ixia’s basic skills gain additional damage (limited only to that fan-shaped area). Ixia can deal damage to six enemies with her basic attacks, and her Arc Syphon is also activated, which can deal up to 80/160/340 extra damage to enemies. This is a very important and useful skill for her in teamfights. Players can use it wisely to deal the maximum amount of damage.

Skill Analysis and Hero Overview

This hero is very powerful in the early to late phases. If players know how to use it, they can outnumber any enemies with it, and it’s unique passive will help to restore the HP in any situation. If one feels that they are being ganked by enemies, they simply should not engage.

Instead of fighting, one must run to restore their mana and health, because its ultimate’s passive will provide you with extra movement speed, which will work like a rapid boot for free. Imply gathering stacks first with your basic attack, then gather them all with your skill 2, and then skill 1 or open skill 3 in the Early Game:

Basic Attack *2+ Skill 2+ Skill 1

Or else open skill one, then spam skill 2 and skill 1 with your basic attack. You can perform the following skills on the battlefield with Ixia in Late Game:

Skill 2+ Skill 1+ Skill 3+ Basic Attack

Final Thoughts

This marksman will be in meta soon after its release. The release date is not yet fixed, but we could see her on the battlefield in the middle or last week of June (in the original game). If one has access to the Advanced server, we will definitely recommend the player master it. Once the hero releases in the Original Server, it will give players an upper hand in rank pushing. Try to do a combo with Yve and Gatotkaca. It will mitigate the chance of escape for enemies. Once they are caught, respawn will be their only option.

The final bonus tip is to try the crit build on her, instead of the former Trinity or speed build. After the release on the original server, we will clarify the reason behind this. Ixia can be considered a great counter for both Beatrix and Revamped Layla.
