Gameloft and NetEase Games have announced that they will shut down the service of their fantasy MMORPG, Order & Chaos: Guardians on November 16, 2024. The game is part of the popular Order & Chaos IP.
NetEase decided to terminate Order & Chaos: Guardians amid ongoing efforts to streamline projects
Originally announced for mobile platforms in January, Order & Chaos: Guardian launched early access for Android in select regions on July 12, 2024. It is an exciting team-based MMORPG where you gather and nurture heroes from the nine iconic races and six factions from the Order & Chaos series to create the ultimate squad and defeat formidable enemies as you advance.
The Order & Chaos: Guardians team announced today on their official Discord server that the game will be suspending operations permanently. This is disappointing for fans, especially since the predecessor, Order & Chaos, was shut down just last year in February.
All the servers will be permanently shut down on November 16, 2024, and you won’t be able to log in to the game anymore. The game won’t be available for new downloads starting tomorrow, and the in-game purchase function will be permanently disabled.
NetEase is streamlining its projects and shutting down games that don’t meet its expectations, including Operation Apocalypse and MARVEL Super War among others. I hope they slow down with their current termination spree.
