Netflix added three new games to its membership catalogue in Poland, Italy and Spain

Android users can try out a trio of casual games

Netflix, the service that has dominated movie and TV- show streaming for a while is continuing its expansion into mobile gaming. Back in August of this year, they unveiled 2 Stranger Things games for the first time as part of the membership services the company offers for streaming in Poland for Android devices. Now the Netflix Games service is expanding to Italy and Spain with new games.

Three new casual titles join the Netflix Games service

This time around, they’re adding 3 new games to the list for Netflix members in Poland, Italy, and Spain. These games aren’t related to or based on TV shows or movies like the previous Stranger Things games but instead, are more casual games. Shooting Hoops, Teeter Up, and Card Blast are the three games that have launched on the app today.

They’ll be available at no extra cost aside from the standard membership fees and the feature will be available on the Netflix App. From there, users will be redirected to the games on the Play Store. They can download the game and sign in with their Netflix login details to enjoy the games which will be ad-free and won’t have any in-app purchases.

Users in Spain and Italy would also be able to try out the Stranger Things games that Polish users already have access to.

This certainly seems like a step in the right direction for Netflix considering their success when it comes to movie/show streaming. Game subscription services aren’t unheard of and services like Xbox Game Pass offer them but Netflix could really make an impact as well.

Although the new service is still in its infancy, the regions it rolls out in are limited. If it gains traction then it surely would enter other regions and in iOS as well.
