Innersloth and Krafton have announced a collaboration between their most popular titles, Among Us and New State Mobile which will be coming in the April update. Among Us announced the crossover in a tweet where impostors and crewmates are on their way to Troi, which will see the worlds of Among Us and New State Mobile clash for a limited time.
A new Among Us-style minigame will be available featuring epic rewards
The limited-time event in New State Mobile begins on April 21st, 2022, and ends on May 19th, 2022. During that time, the most significant addition to the game will be a new Among Us-style minigame that four-player squads can play on the beginning island while waiting for a match on the Troi map. The Impostor will be one of the four squadmates, and the other three must avoid being killed before the actual PUBG match begins.
A squad will be split into a group of crewmates and one impostor in the Among Us mini-game. The impostor then needs to kill the other crew members using firearms while avoiding being killed.
The game will also include a unique set of quests that players must complete in order to gain Among Us-themed emblems, titles, and frames. The in-game store will also provide unique crates containing apparel and other products based on the popular social deduction game.
Alongside this, Among Us decorations and props will be placed in a few sections of the map, including the Starting Island, Chester, and Anchorville, albeit these things cannot be utilized as weapons during a match.
Finally, for the community, players in the New State Mobile community can also earn rewards by taking part in a special in-game event that asks them to fulfill unique challenges in the New State Mobile Among Us collaboration. The rewards for this special event include an Among Us-themed frame, title, emblem, and more to help players dress up their profiles.
