Stray Fawn Studio, the developer of Niche – a genetics survival game and Nimbatus – The Space Drone Constructor, has released their first-ever mobile game Niche – Breed and Evolve on iOS and Android. The simulation game takes place in the same world as the original Niche. However, it mainly focuses on relaxed breeding, rather than survival. Niche – Breed and Evolve is now available on the App Store and the Google Play Store as a premium title.
The team started to develop Niche – Breed and Evolve after receiving countless requests from fans who wanted to play a Niche game on mobile devices. After making ‘Niche – a genetics survival game’ available for free, Stray Fawn decided to create a brand new mobile game focusing on the same topics as the original Niche game in order to enable even more people to learn about the science of genetics and heredity. Once again, the developers teamed up with their community in order to keep on iterating and improving the game.
Gameplay Overview
Players can collect over 120 genes in this game to adapt their animals in order to explore and populate different islands in the world of Niche. There are millions of different gene combinations and creature designs available for the players. You can Breed, adapt and evolve your own species based on realistic genetics.
Moreover, there are ten unique biomes on three islands for players to explore and conquer in the game. You will come across unique puzzle games which will help you to forage food and encounter new pack members. Also, you can pet your animals and form a bond with them.
