Nintendogs to make a debut on mobile devices according to a leaked patent

Don't worry, they won't bite!

A recently-filed Nintendo patent that is gearing toward a mobile release looks very similar to the 2005 classic video game title Nintendogs released on Nintendo. Rumors of the game sparked the possibility of a release after the patents for the game were released on the internet.

The game would literally allow players to carry their puppies in their pockets

Dogs, being loyal and loving companions are rightly called a Man’s best friend. However not everyone can afford to have one, some don’t have the resources to afford them while some are just too afraid of them as they would bite. With this being the center of the idea, Nintendo released Nintendogs a classic video game title where all people would have to do was spend time with their favorite puppies, in a virtual setting off-course.

Recently a post was shared on Reddit, suggesting Nintendo has seemingly filed a patent for what looks like an AR game that will see players interact with a dog via their phone screens. Nintendogs was a revolutionary and unique idea for its time and thus found great success and a warm reception from the fans, given the success of the game on Nintendo it is safe to say that the game could also be expected to find similar success in the mobile genre because there are no big names in this specific genre.

Interested fans can access the Patent links from the given Reddit link above. The game will have similar in-game features as that was present in the game Pokémon GO, which uses augmented reality to place Pokemon in the real world, it looks like this app will do the same but with a puppy. This seems like a smart move that is bound to repay dividends for the developers as there is no shortage of puppy admirers in our world.
