- Wuthering Waves officially confirms Cyberpunk: Edgerunners collaboration for Version 3.4.
- Find the release date, trailer details, rewards, and whether David Martinez will be playable or not.
The long-awaited collaboration between Wuthering Waves and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners has finally received a major update. After months of silence following the original teaser during the Version 2.3 livestream, Kuro Games has officially confirmed that both Lucy and Rebecca will join the game as playable characters in Version 3.4.
The announcement came alongside a brand-new trailer showcasing the futuristic crossover between Solaris-3 and the world of Night City.
Wuthering Waves x Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Collaboration Overview
Kuro Games hasn’t announced a release date yet, but they released drip marketing for Lucy and Rebecca. So, the collaboration is expected to launch in June 2026 as part of Version 3.4. Multiple leaks and community discussions suggest the update will likely arrive around June 10, 2026, after the conclusion of Version 3.3 banners.
The new trailer heavily focuses on Lucy and Rebecca, practically confirming their importance in the collaboration storyline. Shortly after the trailer release, Kuro Games officially released drip marketing for Lucy and Rebecca. That’s confirmed, both characters will become playable Resonators.

In the trailer, Rebecca was shown using her iconic oversized firearms and chaotic combat style. At the same time, Lucy appears to utilize Mono-Wire-based attacks and hacking abilities similar to her netrunner skills in Edgerunners. The collaboration seems to preserve their personalities and fighting styles extremely well.
Rebecca Will Be Free for All Players
One of the biggest surprises from the announcement is that Rebecca will be given away for free. Kuro Games confirmed that every player can obtain her during the collaboration event, making this one of the most generous crossover rewards the game has offered so far.

At the moment, Kuro Games has not revealed the exact method for claiming Rebecca, but in my opinion, she will likely be obtainable through event participation or login rewards.
Will David Martinez Be Playable

David Martinez briefly appears near the end of the trailer wearing his iconic yellow jacket while looking toward what appears to be Solaris-3. David is the protagonist of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners and one of the most beloved characters. However, Kuro Games has not released any drip marketing or official playable announcement for David.
Because of that, there is a strong possibility that David may appear only as a story-exclusive character or a temporary event character. Kuro Games could still surprise players later with a hidden reveal. But based on the current official information, David does not appear to be playable in Version 3.4.
What you can expect from the collaboration
Based on the trailer and currently available information, here is what we can expect from the Wuthering Waves x Cyberpunk: Edgerunners collaboration:
- Playable Lucy and Rebecca
- Free Rebecca for all players
- A special collaboration story event
- New combat mechanics inspired by hacking and netrunning
- Cyberpunk-themed missions and visuals
- Possible limited-time banners and weapons
- New soundtrack and thematic UI elements
- Solaris-3 crossover story featuring Edgerunners characters
