The Northgard franchise gets a brand new addition in Northgard: Battleborn which is an action RPG now in early access for Android in the US and Canada. It brings a similar art style and gameplay style to the original Northgard game.

For those unfamiliar with Northgard, it’s a strategy game developed by ShiroGames. Set in a world inspired by Norse mythology, the game invites you to explore a newly discovered land called Northgard.
This continent is filled with mysteries, dangers, and valuable resources, but it is also home to dire wolves and Undead Warriors who fiercely defend their territory. Vikings must navigate these threats, potentially forming alliances with Giants or engaging in battle with them.
Similarly, the latest title from Frimastudio also looks to follow a similar backdrop, but with more intensity, hence the APRG genre. There is also a mix of cards as well, where you are involved in 3v3 tactical battles. Starting the game, you need to choose your Warchief, a formidable warrior with distinct abilities and skills.
Next up, build and personalize your card deck, allowing you to cast powerful spells, provide buffs, summon allies to assist in combat, and unleash devastating attacks on your enemies. The game allows you to dive into challenging raids featuring dangerous enemies and mythical creatures from Norse mythology and the Northgard universe.
If you are interested in trying out this new game, you can try the early access version of Northgard: Battleborn if you are from the US or Canada. The game is available on Android via Google Play Store currently. For iOS and global release, no official announcement has been made, so keep an eye on this space to be updated.
