Neverness to Everness is a supernatural open world RPG where you take on paranormal jobs as an Anomaly Hunter.

Neverness to Everness (NTE) officially launches globally on April 29, 2026, on PC, Android, iOS, PlayStation 5, and Mac with full cross-platform support. There are a lot of questions surrounding what the game is going to be like, the features, and, of course, what rewards we are going to get, so here’s everything you need to know about the launch and its specifics.

Neverness to Everness: Gameplay

Neverness to Everness is an urban open-world RPG developed by Hotta Studio and published by Perfect World Games. The game blends anime-style visuals with city exploration, while also having a supernatural element to it.

The game is seemingly set in Hethereau, where we’ll need to learn how to deal with the Anomalies since this is a supernatural vibe. In Neverness to Everness, we will get to explore the city of NTE, dive into city exploration, enjoy a vibrant urban life, and embark on adventures filled with mystery and wonder.

Neverness to Everness: Co-Ex Update Roadmap

With the global launch announcement, Hotta Studio also announced future optimizations and development goals for the game based on players’ Co-Ex test feedback. Here are the upcoming game optimization details, including story, open world experience, combat mode, gameplay mechanism, and more:

Performance improvements on PC, PlayStation, and mobile.
Bug fixes and stability improvements.
Add ray tracing support.
Fix display errors when Lumen is enabled.
Improve character selection screen UI; Overhaul the Awaken interface.
Increase inventory size; Improve inventory management.
Improve the housing system: better furniture placement, refine controls, and add more interactive furniture.
Update character bonds with new voicelines and animations.
Expand Hethereau Hobbies – Races: Implement AI opponents, add more ride-along companions, new tracks, leagues, friend rankings, and 4-player online matches.
Quality-of-life improvements to Beyond the Rails for a smoother run.
Improve Hethereau Hobbies – Swift Cab: Add taxi orders from playable characters.
Improve Hethereau Hobbies – The Cafe by Origen: More tutorials; Improve visuals and stats.
Improve Hethereau Hobbies – Sea Angler: Improve visuals and stats.

Expand Hethereau Hobbies – Pink Paws Heist: Add multiplayer support; Increase randomness in route and levels; Adjust mob and item spawn logic; Improve drops and rewards; Improve pacing and experience; Shorten game length.
Add new bosses for High-Risk Commission: Swallowtail, Nestbound Bird.

Character, Combat & Story

Add new A-Class Character “Aurelia”. Ex-band member, current 9-to-5er. You might’ve spotted this soft-spoken, jellyfish-loving girl around Tamamochi Street.
Improve hair and facial model details.
Improve character-based animations; Add more open-world interactions.
Improve character combat animations and overall combat feel.
Improve lip syncing.
Improve localizations. Long-term, ongoing optimizations.
Dedicated improvements to combat experience on mobile.
New main story episodes: In the wake of Nightingale’s and Witch’s actions, another storm is quietly brewing.
Expand open-world encounters: Add more character encounters and side content.
