Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon, a new chapter in the Oceanhorn Expanded Universe, is all set to release on iOS and Apple Arcade on January 8, 2021. It is mainly a dungeon crawler which focusses towards local multiplayer. Chronos Dungeon takes inspiration from the 16-bit classics. In addition, it is also enhanced with randomized modifiers which makes each level different and interesting to play. Moreover, Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon by Cornfox & Bros. Ltd. is visually inspired by the classic JRPGs from the mid-90s. However, the well-designed creatures, game environment, and archetypes add a familiar Oceanhorn vibe to the mix. The official Twitter handle of Cornfox Bros. Ltd. officially confirmed the news of Chronos Dungeon coming to Apple Arcade soon.
Gameplay overview
Chronos Dungeon is a new chapter in the Oceanhorn Expanded Universe. The game focuses on offering an exhilarating local co-op experience. The in-game mechanics are easy to manage and straightforward by design. Besides this, Chronos Dungeon has players collecting loot and fighting side by side in an epic quest against the god that set the events of the main Oceanhorn saga in motion, Chronos himself.
In addition, in this new edition, up to four friends can join forces on a single couch to explore the floors of the hazardous Dungeon. It’s also described as a rogue-lite that can be played over quick sessions with friends. Above all, players are free to restore the whole world by retrieving a powerful artifact. The precious artifcat named Paradigm Hourglass also features randomized floors in the game.
When will Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon release
