Off the Road 2 set to raise the bar with a massive open-world and next-gen driving, arriving on mobile this Spring, 2026

We're really getting OTR 2 before GTA VI!

Story Highlights
  • OTR 2 is bringing the series' most ambitious world yet, with a seamless map 30 times larger than the original.
  • The game offers multi-vehicle support, next-gen physics, stunning visuals, new Livery Editor, day/night cycle, missions, multiplayer, and more.
  • By pre registering, you get a chance at early access and instant in game rewards when OTR 2 launches.

DogByte Games has announced the sequel open-world off-road racing sim, Off the Road 2 or OTR 2, which is set to launch on both Android and iOS in Spring 2026. Sequel to the fan-favorite extreme off-road sim, the game is now open for pre-registration Google Play Store and coming soon to App Store.

Get ready to conquer every terrain from highways to wild trails with the best vehicles

If Off the Road had you hooked, then OTR 2 will surprise you even more as it is bringing a massive seamless map 30 times larger than its predecessor. So, you can soon explore diverse locations from hills and high-ways to off-road trails and wilderness with some of the most powerful vehicles out there.

Here, you’re not just limited to rugged 4x4s, since you can drive supercars, pilot fighter jets or helicopters, and even use high-speed powerboats in water. As someone who grew up playing NFS, Burnout, and more, I love that they’ve fully detailed interiors and working parts and we can even customize every part with a new Livery Editor.

You can race or cruise with friends in real time or complete missions for rewards

Beyond driving, the next part is obviously its next-gen physics and graphics. I mean, seeing mud realistically sticking to tires and feeling the impact with an advanced vehicle damage system will be really satisfying. Plus, it also has a real-time day/night cycle which I really love in games.

You can also race with up to 6 players or just cruise around with friends in real-time. Oh, and you can even take on deliveries and more to earn rewards. Overall, this game has a lot of potential to blow up thanks to its huge open world, multi-vehicle support, changing conditions, stunning visuals, water physics, and more.

Off the Road 2 or OTR 2 is launching on both Android and iOS in Spring 2026. So, you can now pre-register for the game via the Google Play Store, though iOS users need to wait. By pre-registering, you’ll also get the chance for early access and various rewards.
