Netmarble has announced their latest action title, Shangri-La Frontier: The Seven Colossi, which is set to launch on Android, iOS, and PC this year in Japan. Based on the popular manga and anime, Shangri-La Frontier, this is the first game adaptation and is currently in development by Netmarble Nexus.
Get ready to take on the mighty Seven Colossi in dynamic battles
So, Shangri-La Frontier: The Seven Colossi is shaping up to be a faithful recreation of he vast world everyone loves from the original series. Based on Katarina’s popular series, the game was first revealed back in 2022 and later got a proper announcement with the title and gameplay details in July 2025.
The best part for me as a fan is how the game expands the anime’s world by focusing on the seven powerful monsters called Colossi. Plus, you get to enjoy encounters with diverse characters and NPCs while using a two-character switch-based battle system to defeat the giant bosses.
And, the recent reveal of the unique monster Wezaemon the Tombguard in the latest PV got me even more interested in the game. Moreover, the visuals look stunning, the combat enjoyable, and solid voice cast for beloved characters like Sunraku enhances the experience. Overall, this one genuinely looks promising, and I hope we get the global launch this year.
Shangri-La Frontier: The Seven Colossi is launching on Android, iOS, and PC in 2026 in Japan. The game is yet to be listed on the app stores, so stay tuned for more updates!
