Their goal with this event is to inspire millions of players to take real-world steps toward a cleaner planet, all through the games they love. This time around, you can dive into eco-friendly gameplay with Talking Tom Gold Run and My Talking Tom Friends, where you’ll be encouraged to REplay, REgrow, and REuse.
With Talking Tom Gold Run, you are in for an eco-adventure. You have to collect Trash Bag Tokens while running, tasked with recycling discarded plastic. With each piece of plastic that finds its way into a recycling bin, the in-game environment transforms from polluted to pristine. There’s even a special recycling machine that turns trash into in-game rewards, including the exclusive Eco Angela outfit.
In addition, you will be rewarded for cleaning up garbage in the game with tokens and skill stars, but during Green Game Jam, they’ll also earn organic fertilizer and seeds. These can be used to grow organic vegetables in a fun gardening mini-game, creating a cycle of cleaning, growing, and feeding that keeps the game’s world green.
At the time of writing, the event is now live and will run until September 19, 2024. Outfit7 is also taking the Green Game Jam to social media, encouraging you to make a difference in the real world. By picking up trash or growing your food, you can share their efforts using the hashtag “#RERERE”.
