After months of anticipation, Japan-based developers Bandai Namco have announced that there’s going to be a new Pac-Man game named Pac-Man Geo which will be making its way to Android and iOS devices in late 2020. Bandai Namco has also announced that it’s new action-based “augmented reality-based” game Pac-Man Geo is currently going into pre-registration on Android and iOS. The pre-registration has started on September 10th.
About Pac-Man Geo
The game will be a free-to-play game but with in-app purchases. Pac-Man Geo is going to be turning a lot of real-world maps into actual levels. The game is also going to be making use of Google maps. This will allow players to determine and create their own stages.
Players will be able to select their scope level by choosing locations from a certain world map. Eventually, they can head to the streets as Pac-Man and try to avoid ghosts and gobble up pellets. Conversely, you can charge all around the Arc de Triomphe in France or make your way to New York and slay about in Times Square. On your way, you’ll be at the liberty of collecting several landmarks that are going to be showing you just how much of the world you’ve been to in the game.
