Newfangled Games announces the forthcoming release of their paper-folding puzzle adventure game, Paper Trail, scheduled to launch on PC, consoles, and the Netflix mobile app on 21 May 2024. The game promises to immerse players in a stunning 2D paper world.
Paper Trail takes puzzle adventures to new heights
In this charming puzzle adventure, players embark on a journey alongside aspiring academic Paige. As they progress through the game, they’ll navigate through visually stunning levels crafted entirely from paper, solving puzzles and surmounting obstacles by manipulating the environment through folding and tearing. Along the way, a vibrant cast of characters with their narratives will aid Paige in discovering new paths as she ventures away from home for the first time.
Created by the BAFTA award-winning developer behind Hue, Paper Trail has garnered over 38 awards and accolades, including honors such as ‘Best Family Game’ at the Gamescom Awards, ‘Game of the Year’ at Reboot Develop, ‘Most Innovative’ at IndieX, and ‘Best International Game’ at SXSW Sydney.
