Pocket Card Jockey: Ride On!, a solitaire and horse-racing hybrid game that was released way back in 2014 for iOS and Android is now set to get a new Apple Arcade release in the series by the name of Ride On. It will launch on January 20 worldwide.

Pocket Card Jockey was originally released to great acclaim on the Nintendo 3DS, and while the basic rules are the same, the racing segments have been reborn in glorious 3-D! The game sets to combine the experience of Solitare with Horse racing fun thus promising very unique gameplay for players to experience.
The game operates on a very clear and simple game mechanism, you will have to beat the game of Solitare to help increase the chances of your horse winning the race, the better cards you will pull out of the mix will decide how far and most importantly how fast your horse will run on the track.

The better will be your cards, the more stamina and in a better mood, your horse would be however you will have to keep playing the game throughout the race to make sure the mood and stamina don’t drop down.
To spice up things a bit further, you get different cards depending on your positioning on the track, There are also special cards that can be picked up if you run over them while racing. These cards provide a variety of benefits, including leveling up your horse, learning new skills, or improving your performance in a race. If your steed has charged tons of energy and has plenty of stamina left in the tank, it’ll sprint its heart out once you enter the home stretch.
