July is turning out to be one of the biggest months of the year for Pokemon Go, not because it marks the fifth anniversary of the game’s release but also it started with Pokemon Go Bidoof Day. Bidoof is a Normal-type Pokemon and Bidoof Day 2021 is a special event during which Bidoof will completely take over the spawns, raids, and Team GO Rocket encounters in Pokémon GO. Today i.e., Thursday, July 1, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. local time, Bidoof will be the only Pokémon player’s can take on one-star, three-star, and five-star raids. And if you’re lucky, you might encounter a Shiny Bidoof, which is making its Pokémon GO debut.
Pokemon Go Bidoof: features
Bidoof display a wide variety of weird behaviour. There is also a chance that Bidoof you encounter will know attacks that they normally cannot learn. Among special attacks, they know:
- Shadow Ball
- Thunderbolt
- Ice Beam
Bidoof, that is captured during this period will have all the Superpower and players will be able to use a Charged TM to teach the Thunderbolt, Ice Beam, or Shadow Ball.
Pokemon Go Bidoof Day 2021: Special research tasks and rewards
As Pokemon Go Bidoof Day is finally here, players can find all the tasks and steps that need to be completed under the Bidoof Special Research. After completing the entire stage, players will be rewarded with the Bidoof Hat avatar item.
Stage 1
The players need to use 3 Berries to help catch Pokémon and catch 6 normal-type Pokémon. The stage will be completed after the player catch 3 Bidoof. After the completion of stage 1, players will be rewarded with Bidoof encounter, 399 XP, and 399 Stardust.
Stage 2
In the second stage, players need to catch 1 normal-type Pokémon, take a snapshot of Bidoof, and catch 5 Bidoof. After completing the stage, the player will be rewarded with Bidoof encounter, 399 XP, and 399 Stardust.
Stage 3
In this stage, players will have the option of nerves of steel and nests near water. The players need to transfer 10 Pokémon, take a Snapshot of Bidoof, and catch 5 Bidoof. After successful completion of the stage, the player will be rewarded with Bidoof encounter, 399 XP, and 399 Stardust.
Stage 4
In this stage, players will be asked to catch 5 Bidoof, catch 10 Bidoof, and catch 15 Bidoof to complete the stage. After completion, players will be rewarded with Bidoof encounter, 3990 XP, and the much-hyped Bidoof Hat avatar item.
