- Trainers completed over 23 million raids
- Trainers collectively walked over 125M kilometers
Special Pokemon GO Fest celebrations ranged over 20 cities around the world. More importantly, these events were done in partnership with local governments to ensure safety. Thus, trainers looking for an adventure could explore and discover their local cities while playing Pokemon GO!
Pokemon GO Fest 2021 Recap
Day 1
During day 1 of Pokemon GO Fest 2021, trainers had the role of concert director. They had put on a special show with certain themed Pokemon. The show was such a success that even the Mythical Pokemon Meloetta made an appearance in the game. This was the first time trainers were able to encounter and catch it in Pokémon GO.
Day 2
On the second day of Pokemon GO Fest 2021, the Mythical Pokemon Hoopa appeared and caused a ruckus. This caused a wide assortment of Legendary Pokemon to begin appearing in raids. Luckily, Trainers were able to overcome the odds and complete all the global challenges during the event. This unlocked this year’s exciting Ultra Unlock bonuses! An amazing 2-day festival
Pokemon GO Fest 2021 ended with massive reactions from trainers and gamers all over the world. This 2-day festival was one of the best places for Pokemon GO fans to come together as a whole community, explore and catch Pokemon. We hope to see the return of the fest next year with more engagement and events for the beloved trainers.
