Pokémon Go to get Mega Legendary Raids according to datamine leaks

Data miners have discovered several new assets!

There is no doubt that Pokémon Go is one of the most active games right now, with new events, updates, and content being regularly added to the game. Last week data miners revealed that Pokémon Go might be reworking on the Mega Evolution System. Data miners have revealed a new Raid Tier egg discovered in Pokemon Go’s GM file, which looks like the trainer will be getting a Mega Legendary Raids in 2022.

Mega Legendary Raids and Eggs could be coming with the latest update

Famous Pokémon Data miners group, Pokéminers has now said that the game might be getting new Mega Legendary Raids in the latest 0.235.0 update. According to Pokéminers, the Mega Legendary Raids are listed as Mega 5 in the code, and there’s also a new egg design.

The data also suggests that Niantic and Pokémon are working on adding a new search filter, a Mega evolve button, two ways to evolve a Mega Pokemon, and a new Mega evolve icon, Mega Attack boost, CP details, and new moves.

Pokémon Go already has six types of raid eggs, namely One, two, three, four, five, and Mega. But currently, there are only one, three, five, and mega raid eggs in the game as Niantic and Pokémon removed two and four-star raid eggs in 2020, but the new Mega Legendary raid egg will become the seventh raid egg of the game. The rumored Mega Legendary Pokémon that might be added with the update:

  • Mega Mewtwo X
  • Mega Mewtwo Y
  • Mega Rayquaza
  • Mega Mawile (for Halloween 2022 event)
  • Mega Banette (for Halloween 2022 event)
  • Mega Lucario
  • Mega Latias
  • Mega Latios

Recent back-end updates have also revealed assists for Mega Latias and Mega Latios, making it likely for the Eon Pokémon to lead the charge ahead of more Mega Legendary Pokémon being added to the game.

Pokéminers say that several new assets were discovered, one of which is the highly anticipated Pokémon Sleep. This mobile game would track users’ sleep through a Pokémon Go Plus accessory and embed it into the gameplay to turn sleep into entertainment. Now, data miners say they have seen back-end updates with added functionality for the accessory that includes a sleep log. Although this hints at a potential game launch, it cannot be confirmed until an official announcement is made.

However, the data miners say that the new Mega Legendary Raids would be coming to the game with the rumored Mega Evolution System. Users can stay updated on all the information regarding the new updates by visiting the official Pokémon Go website or by following the official social media handles.
