As the thrilling World of Wonders event draws to a close, Pokémon GO is set to captivate Trainers with a spectacular finale. From May 23 at 10:00 a.m. to May 28 at 8:00 p.m. local time, Pokémon GO enthusiasts can engage in unique challenges and capture rare Ultra Beasts, including the debuts of Naganadel, Stakataka, and Blacephalon.
Unleash ultra beasts and special research in Pokémon GO
This grand finale not only features the appearance of special Ultra Beasts but also introduces comprehensive Special Research tasks. Naganadel, the Poison Pin Pokémon, will make its first appearance in Pokémon GO.
Trainers can evolve Poipole into Naganadel using 200 Poipole Candy after catching 20 Dragon-type Pokémon with Poipole as their Buddy. Additionally, Stakataka will join the five-star raids in the Eastern Hemisphere, while Blacephalon lights up the Western Hemisphere.
Celebrate World of Wonders finale with exclusive activities and rewards in Pokémon GO
During this event, Trainers can earn double XP for winning Ultra Beast Raid Battles and enjoy increased encounters with Pokémon like Ekans, Zubat, and Mareanie — with a lucky chance to catch their Shiny forms. This period also introduces the debut of Shiny Mareanie, adding extra excitement for collectors.
Event-themed Field Research tasks will provide opportunities to encounter a variety of Pokémon, including Nidoran♀, Nidoran♂, and Jangmo-o. Special Research related to the World of Wonders will be available, offering rewards like XP, Rare Candy, and encounters with featured Pokémon.
To enhance the celebration, Pokémon GO introduces new avatar items, including Naganadel Wings, and a paid Timed Research option available for $5.00, offering exclusive rewards such as Premium Battle Passes and unique encounters with Mareanie.
