Some useful QoL changes

Pokémon Unite has brought a minor patch update on October 26, 2021, focusing mainly on the in-game lobby. This update isn’t huge but it brings some significant quality of life changes to the lobby, making it easier to navigate to the events and friends tab.

Events can be seen easily

The main lobby now has a few new tabs to easily access Friends and Events. Previously the events page can only be accessed through the character icon which is located on the top left. Now, there is a dedicated section located right next to the Unite Battle button on the bottom left. This directly opens the event page.

See who is online and queue up quickly

There is now also a brand new friends tab right below the profile picture. Previously the friends tab can only be accessed either through the character icon or during the matchmaking lobby. This new tab lists all the friends and tells whether they are online or offline.  Players can still visit these things normally through the character icon located on the top left.

Previously everything was cluttered on the character icon and almost all the options can only be accessed through that. Now this update makes it easier to access these options without the necessity to open the character icon. This is a welcome change and more of these kinds of changes are welcomed.

This update also fixed several bugs. However, which bugs are fixed are not shared publicly by The Pokemon Company.
