A motivational campaign aimed towards gaming and education
The tagline for the program “Khwaabon ki jeet” will include events that will be conducted in several universities located in Pakistan such as Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad. In addition to gaming-oriented events, a number of workshops will also be held in the universities.
These workshops are said to be designed to not only guide students hoping to make an entry into the esports industry but also educate students, parents and teachers about the importance of gaming and the gaming industry. The Campus Empower program is said to run for 2 days in every university.
A step to introduce positive vibes in the community through gaming
The “Campus Empower” scholarship program hopes to erase the stigma around gaming in Pakistan. Quite often, parents have pointed fingers at mobile games such as PUBG as the primary reason for causing kids to be violent and move away from their studies.
Krafton seems to have recognized and has not only given students a platform to use their time playing PUBG well but also educate their parents about the benefits of gaming. More details can be found on the official website.
