Recently a partnership between Krafton Inc. and Tencent Games introduced a real-life location Santorini for the TDM category. This was a part of the collaboration with the Greek National Tourism Organization to bring in an all-new greek map that you can jump in and play. Now PUBG Mobile is actively looking to bring another real-life location into the game. The announcement was made through a Twitter post in which the company asked users to give suggestions for the new map.
Santorini became an instant favorite among fans
The new map of Santorini, an island formed due to volcanic eruptions is also known as the crown of the Aegean Sea. Santorini became an instant favorite for players around the world, the island’s iconic blue rooftops, whitewashed houses, high and low cascading streets as well as amazing ocean views for players to explore and enjoy.

On the other hand, the infrastructure of the island provided enough vantage points for players to take out enemies with various strategies. The map has an 8v8 Team Deathmatch format, players have infinite respawns and earn 1 point for each enemy they eliminate. The first team to achieve the elimination target within the time limit wins.
Krafton plans to introduce more real-life locations following Santorini’s success
After the immense success of the map Santorini in PUBG Mobile, now the development team has decided to introduce another exotic real-life location to the game. Over the years, the game has been filled with locations that offer poetic sceneries with the right amount of vantage points that suit well for the fierce battles.
Now, the development team is asking for suggestions from the users. This has given rise to a ton of suggestions by users across the world, it is noticeable that there is a strong liking for North American metropolitan locations like Los Angeles Downtown, the iconic Rio De Janeiro in Brazil, the New Istanbul airport in Turkey, and the Temple of Heaven in Beijing. Users have also suggested a lot of locations from across the European continent.
Also, it can be seen that the PUBG Mobile users want the development team to design the map exclusively for PUBG Mobile and have strictly gone against introducing maps from the PC version of the game.
