Season 4 of PMPL Indonesia has been announced following the conclusion of the third season of PMPL Indonesia last summer and is due later this month. PMPL Indonesia Season 4 will act as a qualifier for PMPL SEA Finals and play a vital role in the qualifications for the annual PMGC, which is the highest honor for any PUBG Mobile team in the world.
PMPL Indonesia Season 4: Schedule and format
The esports tournament will kick off on August 24, 2021, and will conclude on September 12, 2021. There will be three weeks of league play and 3 Super Weekends involved where the teams will battle for a spot in the Country Finals and subsequently, the SEA Finals.
The tournament will follow the usual procedure of all PUBG Mobile competitive tournaments and will be divided into 2 parts – the league stage and the grand finals. In the league stage, all the teams will compete for 2 days and the top 16 teams each week will get to play in the Super Weekends. After 3 weeks, the top 16 teams based only on the Super Weekend rankings will qualify for the Country Finals.
All league matches played in the regular play will only be counted towards the qualification of that team into that respective Super Weekend, where the actual points will be picked up for moving further into the tournament. The top 16 teams based on the 3 Super Weekends will move on to the Country Finals where only one team will come out as the champion. Also, it should be noted that the champions of the league stages will get a direct qualification into the SEA Finals regardless of their performance in the Country Finals.
Prize pool
The tournament will have a prize pool of $150,000 which will be distributed across the 3 Super Weekends and the Country Finals. The cash prize for the winners and the podium teams is undisclosed as of now. Teams participating in PMPL Indonesia Season 4 are listed below.

The 20 listed teams will be divided into 5 groups, and they will play against each other in a round-robin format. The top 16 teams every week will get to play in the Super Weekend and increase their point tally in the tournament.
