The first Alpha test for Rainbow Six Mobile will be going live next week. In the first Dev Diary for the game, Justin Swan, the game’s creative director, gave away quite a few points of information regarding the upcoming test.
For those who have been out of the loop and don’t know about this project, Rainbow Six Mobile is Ubisoft’s official mobile version based on Rainbow Six Siege, the well-known PC and Console title. All interested players can sign up for the test and have a chance to play the game’s first public alpha build.
How to participate in the Rainbow Six Mobile alpha test
Now this alpha version will only be available for Android devices and will be an invite-only test. Not everyone will be given access to the game but interested players can still give it a shot by signing up for this test and any others in the future by registering on the game’s official website here.
Also, this test will only be available to registered players residing in the United States of America, Mexico, and Canada. The users who do get access will receive an email with an invite link when the test starts next week, on May 3rd, 2022.
This test will feature Border and Bank– the two iconic Rainbow Six maps, 16 operators, and Bomb and Secure Area will be the available game modes. All progress will be deleted once this test is over and since this is a technical test, this might feel a little bare-bones but that’s because this is an early build. There’s no NDA in place so players who get to try out the game are free to share footage of the gameplay and also, are encouraged to provide feedback to ensure improvements in future versions of the game.
It was further announced later that the ranked mode will not be tested in the closed alpha. In future live testing phases, additional competitive settings will be tested.
