Rotaeno, the world’s first rotary rhythm game that reinvents the smartphone gyroscope, has announced its May 30, 2022 release date. Rotaeno, available for $2.99 on the App Store and Google Play, is the ultimate arcade rhythm game on a smartphone.
The game was first announced in 2021 by publisher XD Inc. Rotaeno requires the player to rotate their mobile device to collect incoming notes and visual signals from all directions. Rotaeno incorporates easy motion controls into the mix by coordinating gyroscopic movement with flying notes, building on popular rhythm game components that challenge the player to hit a sequence of notes at precise intervals.
Consider it like navigating a spaceship amid innumerable meteors. As seen above from the game’s official Twitter account, the player collects notes by tilting their phone to a particular degree as notes arrive on the sides of the screen.
