Square Enix has announced the release of SaGa Frontier Remastered during the recently held Nintendo Direct event. According to the developers, the game will be a remastered version of the classic PlayStation original that was released way back in 1997 Japan and 1998 for North America both on the PlayStation console. After SaGa Scarlet Grace: Ambitions, Romancing SaGa 3, and Romancing SaGa 2 released in the West, SaGa Frontier Remastered will be the first premium SaGa release for modern systems. Square Enix has also announced SaGa Frontier Remastered is scheduled to be released on April 15th, 2021.
New features, content, and Bonus for new and existing players
In terms of newly added contents in comparison to the original classic, SaGa remastered will include Fuse as a new inclusion and usable character. Moreover, the game will have upgraded graphics, events and many more as well.
The free-to-play Romancing SaGa: Universe was launched earlier in the west as well. To celebrate the release of the Remastered version, Square Enix is giving out a new login bonus for the game. This will include such as 1,500 jewels, over 50 tiny Lunar New Year stamina potions, and more.
When is SaGa Frontier Remastered releasing?
The upcoming Remastered version of SaGa Frontier is scheduled for release on April 15th, 2021. The remastered version will be priced at $24.99. Android and iOS users will be able to play the game on April 15th as a premium title on their respective app stores.
