Squad Busters to enter second closed beta test in select regions on May 22, 2023

Squad Busters have announced the second closed beta test which will be held over a week starting from May 22, 2023, in select regions. This beta will also introduce some interesting features and additions to the game after receiving feedback from the players, which we will discuss further.

Squad Busters will introduce Battle Mods and new characters

From the house of Supercell, Squad Busters’ first Closed Beta test began on February 6, 2023, in Canada. According to a fan poll that was conducted officially, a large share of users who played the first beta found the game to be somewhat amusing and enjoyable.

With this beta, some interesting features will be made available to the players. Battle Mods are one such inclusion in this update, which are consisting of different sets of rules added to a particular match. It can be anything, be it excess loot, more fun traps or situations, etc. These will come in many themes such as Pinata Party, Royal Haunt, etc, so beta testers can try this and engage in the discussions.

A brand new theme has also been included in this version, Royal World, which has a distinct world map with a grey shade improvising the look. Comes along are new characters, which are having their own distinct persona, making the game much more exciting to watch out for. This way, players can also build their squads faster.

Duplicate characters can now be merged into one, powerful being. This fusion process allocates perks to boost the stats of your characters and their special abilities. How to download and play Squad Busters in any region

Squad Busters have opted for a limited beta release, with players from Spain, Mexico, and Canada able to participate in the second closed beta test from May 22 to May 29. Once again, the CBT will be exclusive to Android devices, which should fulfill the OS requirement of Android 12 or higher.

Players outside the regions can download and play Supercell’s strategy title by following the below steps.

  • Make sure your device is Android 12 or above, else you won’t be able to play the beta.
  • Connect VPN to any of the available beta regions, which can be Spain, Mexico, or Canada.
  • Create a dummy Gmail account, which is to access the Play Store link.
  • Open Google Play Store via the Gmail you created, so as to indicate you are from the mentioned regions.
  • Search for Squad Busters in the Google Play Store. To make it easy, you can access the link here. The download button will be activated if you followed the steps correctly.
  • You can disconnect the VPN to play after it is downloaded. Enjoy the game!

Players on the iOS platforms will have to wait for updates from the developers. Meanwhile, excitement is building for Squad Busters, which promises to be distinctive and refreshing and is expected to be well-received upon its global release, the date of which is unknown.
