Dragon Quest, a famous and well-perceived RPG action-packed game series by Square Enix is all but set to get a new sequel for its title and is expected to be announced on January 18. The developers have given a Livestream link for interested fans of the game to catch the announcement live from Youtube as well which can be found below.
The game will continue the Dragon Quest saga originating from Dragon Warrior
Not much is known about the storyline where the game will take on next, but it can be expected that the game will continue on the saga of Dragon Age and will pick up on the pace where the previous game left off.
The game will again offer an action-packed RPG experience, where and in which location the game will be based is not known it could be under a completely new set up or the game could also return to the old location, Fair Alefgar. The only thing which is expected to remain the same is the gaming experience from a classic retro RPG perspective because this is the main feature that made the original Dragon Warrior so famous in Japan.
Who will be the main character in the game is also not known, the game could just pick up where it left off with the last title where you are a descendant of the legendary hero Erdrick, and embark on an epic journey through the historic realm of Alefgard, tackling fearsome foes and perplexing puzzles on your way to the dread Dragonlord’s lair. Not much is known about the storyline, and Square Enix could completely surprise the fans with a new twist in the series.
