Steam Link adds support for Xbox Series X Controller in its new iOS update

Now enjoy Steam games on your iOS device with the series X controller!

Steam Link for iOS and Android has got a ton of updates since it launched on mobile devices. And its new iOS update, Steam Link has added a new feature that supports the Xbox Series X|S controller. Moreover, this update also includes an all-new FPS-style control option solely for mouse gameplay. The Steam Link app lets you enjoy the PC games on your Android or iOS device by simply pairing it with a Bluetooth controller or Steam Controller and connecting it to a computer that’s running Steam on the same local network, and start playing your existing Steam games.

Speaking about the availability of the Steam Link update, users with iOS 14.5 are also on the path and will be the first ones to enjoy the cool new features that Steam is offering for the Xbox Series X|S controllers. Users with iOS 14 or less will still be able to access some of Steam Link’s new features but may have to wait a while to get the update, unlike iOS 14.5 users who will be getting it first on their iOS devices.

Steam Link is completely free for Android and iOS devices and ever since it launched it has garnered tons of impressive updates so far. Some of these updates include the inclusion of a mouse and keyboard gameplay, rumble feature on iOS 14 for Xbox One and PS4 controllers, and lately PS5 DualSense controller support after the release of iOS 14.5.

However, if you are yet to try out Steam Link, then head over to your respective App Stores and get it for Free. You can install the app directly from the Google Play Store for Android devices and Apple App Store for iOS devices.
