Appleās latest update on its iOS operating system now includes PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S controller support. The recent update arrived first for iOS 14.5 and iPadOS 1.4 respectively. There were a ton of new features that came with the update such as unlocking iPhones with Apple Watch, more diverse Siri voice options, new emoji, 5G data usage improvements, and more ā with the controller support being one of the most eye-catching features to arrive.
Subscribers of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate have an additional benefit
Appleās iOS devices already have PlayStation DualShock 4 controller support, Xbox Elite Series 2, Xbox One Wireless controllers (with Bluetooth), and Xbox Adaptive controller support. According to iOSās official changelog, the new update now adds support for S wireless controller and Xbox Series X as well as PlayStation 5 DualSense controller.
Subscribers of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will be most excited for the news as in recent week Microsoft commenced player invitations to a beta cloud gaming for Apple devices and Windows 10 PCs via web browsers. The subscribers that are based in 22 countries began receiving invites on April 20th and theyāre able to enjoy more than 100 supported Xbox games via Google Chrome, Edge, or Safari Browser.

At the moment there are more than 200 Xbox cloud-enabled games that can be enjoyed with Android devices and a supported or compatible game controller. A growing number of games are also starting to support touch controls.
The majority of titles on Apple Arcade have controller support as well, being a subscription service that includes a wide library of exclusive titles and other É ames that are completely free to play, free of microtransactions, and free of ads.
