The Sword Art Online franchise is preparing to celebrate its 10th anniversary, and now the franchise is launching its new mobile game Sword Art Online Variant Showdown based on the popular anime series. Fans have been eagerly waiting for the game to release, and now the development team is now recruiting testers for the closed beta test for Sword Art Online Variant Showdown.
The game boasts fast gameplay action along with an intense storyline
Sword Art Online Variant Showdown is a 3D fast-paced combat game that revolves around popular SAO characters, the iconic characters from the anime series will go head to head against each other to fight in different modes. The game is set around an intense storyline that was initially released by the developers, the story begins when Kirito hears rumors about Cross Edge one day at the Dicey Café.
The game then goes into a time phase where a mysterious player will attack. Losing to this player will result in a portion of memory being lost. In the next scenario, players can be seen wearing a hoodie that almost covers their eyes and from there on Kirito and his friends play Cross Edge as a way of researching these rumors and soon discover that they are the targets of a surprise attack
How to participate in the Sword Art Online Variant Showdown Closed Beta Test
Now, the development team has started recruiting beta testers to run the first phase of closed beta tests. In order to check the compatibility and functionality of the game before the main launch. The development team is recruiting around 10,000 beta testers to get a very clear understanding of how the game works across different platforms and aims to receive valuable feedback to make necessary changes to the game before the final launch.
The best test will take place between 06/10/2022 to 06/14/2022 and will include both Android and iOS platforms. Interested users can submit their applications to sign for the beta test from 05/07/2022 to 05/16/2022 on the game’s official website here. Randomly selected users will be given a chance to test the beta version of the game and help the development team optimize the game to give users an ultimate experience. The development team is also giving away 10 SAOVS Beater T-shirts to lucky winners who participate in the closed beta test.
