Tencent has suspended the highly anticipated Dungeon and Fighter Mobile just hours after its debut in China due to some unspecified server glitches. The game, initially developed by NEXON was announced for a release on 21st May, 2024.
However as per Tencent due to some āserver fluctuations,” the game was suspended. The developers provided no further clarification, however, some speculations are being made regarding the servers being overflooded by players excited to play the game.
Dungeon & Fighter Mobile is expected to be a blockbuster release as the game is already topping the charts
Dungeon & Fighter Mobile is the most downloaded title on the Apple Stores in China and did manage to garner around 60 million player registrations across platforms pre-launch. The game has a strong fanbase and this was partly the reason for it being suspended as the servers were not able to withstand the demand and excitement the players had for the game.
Dungeon and Fighter, also known as DNF is an action, open-world actionāRPG franchise based on the incredibly popular Dungeon Fighter Online game which was released by Neople and Nexon on August 10, 2005.
It is a classic button-mashing RPG where you can construct your combos and unleash hell on your enemies. The game was expected to be released earlier, however, due to regulatory reasons in China it got delayed.
Tencent will compensate for the inconvenience caused through in-game freebies
The game is available in the Korean market, but it is not clear when the login issues of the servers will be resolved as there is no official word from the developers.
Tencent however will compensate for the inconvenience of the players affected by Dungeon and Fighter Mobile being suspended due to server issues and, coins and freebies will be reflected in the accounts of the players who signed up for the game.
