Level Infinite and Hotta Studio have officially announced that their much-awaited collaboration with Evangelion is set to arrive in Tower of Fantasy, the popular free-to-play, open-world MMORPG available on both PC and mobile platforms, on March 12, 2024.
Tower of Fantasy features an immersive open world, cooperative group and solo adventures, freeform character development, unique simulacrums, and epic combat that allows players to switch weapons and gameplay styles on the fly to unlock their fighting style. The game recently celebrated its 1.5-year anniversary with a Twitch drops event. Additionally, there are many free codes that the developers have provided for the players to redeem and get awesome rewards.
Evangelion forces join guardians in battle against angels
When the 4th and 10th Angels emerge from the rift, disrupting the tranquility of Vera and prompting an invasion of Angels near Mirroria, three individuals controlling Multipurpose Humanoid Decisive Weapons, known as Evangelion outsiders, collaborate with Vera Guardians and the Executor to confront the invading creatures in a fierce confrontation. However, facing a shortage of power, the three Evangelion units are relocated to a sealed hangar within Vera to undergo recharging, readying themselves for the potential return of the Angels.
Pilot Tower of Fantasy mecha against angel invasion
As a contingency measure aimed at enhancing readiness for the looming Angels threat, Mirroria takes the initiative to reactivate Tower of Fantasy’s original mecha. These mecha, designated for players’ use, will be employed specifically in combat against the imminent intrusion. Players assume the role of pilots for these ancient war machines as they engage in battle alongside the Evangelion units against the Angels.
In addition to reactivating the original mecha, Mirroria has overseen specialized modifications to a fleet of all-terrain vehicles known as Soul Plugs. These vehicles are outfitted with potent anti-gravity engines, providing them with heightened adaptability across various landscapes.
Players also have the excitement of anticipating the inclusion of the cherished Evangelion figure, Asuka Shikinami Langley, who serves as an additional simulacrum, alongside exclusive content in the Tower of Fantasy and Evangelion collab. They will also encounter the New Smart Servant Pen Pen, a companion accompanying the player to offer assistance during combat scenarios.
