Ubisoft has revealed some exciting details regarding the open-world activities that will take place in the upcoming third-person shooter title The Division Resurgence. With the game looking to enter a new test phase this summer, these features look interesting and give a lot more into viewing New York in the game.
List of open-world activities coming to The Division Resurgence
Ubisoft has revealed a total of five open-world activities currently, that will take place in the game as it goes live. So, without much adieu, let us look at the activities.
1. Streets of Manhattan
The first is part of an exploration you are going to follow as a Division Agent. Roam the streets of Manhattan as you learn more about it, while also the open world might require your skills for some tasks such as taking down hostile patrol units, restoring energy or water access, rescuing hostages, and more.
As you complete these tasks, there will be more chances that you uncover new and improved equipment, ammunition, and crucial resources necessary for research and manufacturing.
2. Supply Run
The name, after all, says it all. Supplies are certainly a necessity of the hour, and being self-sufficient will undoubtedly require some work. As a result, your assistance is required as you travel the streets of New York in search of a cache of critical supplies to help keep the people safe.
Things could go wrong if the supplies end up in the wrong hands. As a result, it is your responsibility to prevent this from happening. This is extremely dangerous and risky, yet it is what makes the missions rewarding.
3. Hostage Rescue
Distress calls! Rescuing hostages are competitive like never before, as you have a mission to track the detained hostages and get them back safe from the clutches of the hostile parties.
A strategic plan will save the day, as you need to track down the enemy group and be ready to retaliate as well. Free those being held captive so they can come and strengthen our numbers in hostage rescues, but make sure to return safely too!
4. Arms Deal Disruption
Illegal arms deal in the city needs to stop, and you are the one assigned to the task! However, the only solution is to not let them get their hands on the weapons.
Break the deals while confronting them while the deal is still in the works, wipe out everyone who gets in your way, and make sure that the cargo arrives safely. This way, you can stop the factions from illegally selling weapons to other hostile groups on the black market.
5. Outpost Restoration
Because of the inability of securing the city, the strongholds established have been taken over by hostiles and are currently in enemy hands.
So, your mission is to clear out these areas, restore power, and ensure that the people can have a footing in this critical site. As you clear the hostiles around you, the area becomes safe to operate, allowing the rest to place their foot.
