Vivo Keyd wins the Brazilian Free Fire League (LBFF) 2021 Season 2

Twice runners-up takes the league title and pockets $57,817!

Vivo Keyd has been crowned as the champions of the Brazilian Free Fire League (LBFF) or Liga Brasileira de Free Fire 2021 Season 2. In their journey to become the champions, they left heavyweights such as Fluxo and Corinthians behind, to earn an unprecedented title and a massive amount of prize pool.

The champion team gathered a total of 124 points in the lead with 22 points ahead of Corinthians, the second-placed, and 24 points ahead of Fluxo, the third. Approximately $60,000 went into the pockets of Vivo Keyd. Meanwhile, the second and third-placed teams won the prize amounts of $20,000 and $11,000 respectively.

A record-breaking journey to win the league title

After becoming runners-up for the last two editions consecutively, the team has finally lifted the Brazilian champion trophy. The champion team is formed by Modestia, General, Nando9, DeadGOD, and coach Stark. Vivo Keyd is the first team to lead the points table from the group stage, winning the title in the grand final. The team also took 23 kills during the last days of the group stage, breaking the record for most kills for any team in a single match. The former record-holder was FURIA with 21 kills in a match.

The team showed a very consistent performance in the final, beating their two biggest rivals Fluxo and Corinthians. These were the teams that were already candidates for the title. Fluxo started the finals smoothly with two Booyah! in their first two matches but failed to maintain the lead, where Corinthians still had the strength to fight for the lead. But, Guerreiros confirmed the title with exceptional performance in the last fall.

MVP of the tournament

Despite having seen the bi-championship slip from their hands, Fluxo had a reason to celebrate. After all, their player Gabriel “Syaz” Vasconcelos was elected as the Brabo da Galera in a popular vote by the Free Fire community. He also became the MVP (Most Valuable Player) of this stage with 132 kills in total.

After finishing this major tournament successfully, players can now start preparing for the upcoming Free Fire All-Stars Americas event and in the next edition of the FFWS 2021.
