Get ready to experience the Magic Chess mode in a new revamped format

Magic Chess: Go Go is an auto-brawler strategy title set in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang‘s beloved universe. In this game, you compete in chess-like battles against seven other players, aiming to eliminate and outlast them. Each player competes individually through multiple rounds. It is created by the original team from MLBB.

The gameplay is pretty simple, with you commanding familiar MLBB Heroes to recruit and upgrade various MLBB heroes, build synergies, equip items, and strategically position them to outsmart your enemy.

You can obtain various Commanders, each powerful with unique skills, including adorable Chibi versions of popular MLBB heroes, like Ling, Zilong, and more. With each season, new MLBB heroes will join the MCGG battlefield as Commanders.

One cool aspect is that each season will introduce new gameplay mechanics to keep gameplay fresh, with the inaugural season featuring a seasonal Two-Player mode, launching in March 2025. I am excited about this mode since we can pair up and battle against other duos instead of going solo. Moreover, you can also send a 1-star hero to your partner for extra support.

There is good news for veteran players, as your Magic Chess inventory from MLBB will be converted at full value into MCGG currency, comprising Golden Diamonds, Gift Tickets, and Passes, as part of the Gratitude Event. Mr. Gao, the producer of MCGG has also mentioned that they will roll out more initiatives, adding “including much-requested-for esports tournaments, which is one of our immediate priorities for MCGG.

The new Season 1, Rising Dawn is bringing various regions, synergies, and exciting Go Go Cards

Having spent countless hours on the original version, and previously trying this out, I am thrilled to climb the leaderboard in the first season, Rising Dawn, which is launching with a variety of free and exclusive rewards. This season also marks the MCGG debut of beloved Miya; the Moonlight Archer and the very first Hero introduced in MLBB.

By simply playing the game, you can earn 14 1-Star Commanders, the Ruins of Fall Chessboard skin, and Layla’s Plasma Gunner skin for free. Moreover, you can obtain X.Borg’s Pecados Rioter skin in MLBB by linking your accounts and completing missions in Magic Chess: Go Go after launch.

The game features various regions, each having unique powers, and using heroes from the same region grants you powerful Synergy buffs. I also like the new addition, the Go Go Cards, which have game-changing effects that can help you shift the momentum of your game.

Players living in those selected APAC regions can start getting prepared for the launch of Magic Chess: Go Go (MCGG). Once the game goes live on February 21st, you can download it via your respective Google Play Store or App Store. A global release of Magic Chess: Go Go is expected soon, with the game already surpassing 15 million pre-registrations to date.
