Artifex Mundi has revealed their dark fantasy turn-based RPG, Void Hunters, with an alpha test sign-ups for Android, iOS, and PC devices going live on March 19. The alpha build will run for about 8 weeks, and this will be followed by beta testing, and eventually a soft and a full launch.
Get ready to build the ultimate Hunters squad and dominate each run
So, Void Hunters is a dark fantasy, turn-based hero collector RPG that blends a traditional campaign with roguelite-driven missions. Here, you collect unique Void Hunters, each with their own personality, relationships, and motivations that further shape their story in this unique world.
You can raise your Hunters by upgrading their skills, refining gear, and building a powerful squad for tactical battles. And, to me, facing uniquely challenging opponents and clearing special battle objectives already looks fun. Plus, the roguelite missions adds to that with each run offering new choices and bonuses.
You can battle rival squads, uncover the story in campaign, and more
Beyond missions, you can also compete against other squads for top scores and promotions. And, overall, I think the game has great potential with its dark visual style, varied characters, rivalry ranks, time-limited challenges, and especially the story campaign that lets you investigate, track missing Hunters, and more.
And if you’re intrigued, you should apply for the alpha test which brings as much as 40 collectable hunters, a new patrol idle mode, more variety in ranked challenges, and additional campaign including new Hunting Grounds, missions and a Prisoner boss fight. So, I suggest you join as I’m not missing the chance to try it out.
