CyberStep under its new visual novel label Rabbitfoot has announced Welcome Kokuri-san, a Visual Novel RPG that is set to release this 2023 for mobile on both Android and iOS platforms. The game is currently scheduled to be released on May 24 for PC, May 25 for Switch, and later on other platforms.
Welcome Kokuri-san will be starring VTuber Kurune Kokuri
As per the premise of the game given by CyberStep, the game will focus on the investigations of the Seven Wonders of the School, which will begin when you bravely chanted the “Kokkuri-san” spell at school in the middle of the night to be received by a surprisingly cute and mischievous celestial fox named Kurune Kokuri.
Virtual YouTuber Kurune Kokuri will be the talking feature of the upcoming visual novel. Being a popular and active YouTuber, she has been actively participating in playing games based on such style. As far as content is concerned, she is known for her ASMR streams and does “drinking night” chatting streams on Fridays. Upon release, the game will have English, Japanese, and Traditional Chinese language options.
In addition to this announcement, the makers have announced a number of special bonuses for players who purchase the game upon release. It will come in different boxes and will be featuring Limited Edition Design Box (B5 Size), USB, Acrylic Panel (220 140mm), Mousepad (220 170mm), and Clear File (A5 Size) for their users along with other digital bonuses.
Upon release, Welcome Kokuri-san will be available on Steam, DLsite, Nintendo eShop, BOOTH, and in other Japan-only game stores (the PC Package Version). From May 26, 2023, the Package Version will be made available for the players.
The makers are yet to announce the release dates for the PlayStation 4, iOS, and Android versions, so stay tuned for more information.
