In a forthcoming major BBC series titled “Mammals,” a remarkable assortment of creatures will take center stage, two decades following the release of “Life of Mammals.” With never-before-seen behaviors, the show promises captivating insights into the world’s most successful animal group.

Ranging from the minuscule Etruscan shrew to the colossal blue whale, “Mammals” will unveil the keys to their triumphs, showcasing their ingenious design, remarkable adaptability, unparalleled intelligence, and distinctive social traits that have propelled their remarkable ascent.

Words With Friends 2,” a mobile app and online multiplayer word game, offers players the opportunity to construct words in a style reminiscent of crossword puzzles, all in a free-to-play format. BBC Earth and Zynga bring nature inspiration to Words With Friends

Launched in 2009, Words With Friends underwent a remarkable evolution from a beloved mobile game to a worldwide cultural phenomenon. Expanding its reach across various platforms including Facebook Messenger, introducing the highly successful sequel Words With Friends 2, and pioneering innovative gameplay mechanics have all contributed to its enduring popularity over more than a decade. The franchise owes its success to the bonds formed among players through their shared enjoyment of witty and fast-paced wordplay, which has become an integral part of fans’ lives.

“Mammals” is a six-episode series spanning sixty minutes each, produced by BBC Studios Natural History Unit in collaboration with BBC America, ZDF, Youku, and France TĂ©lĂ©visions. Jack Bootle, Head of Commissioning for Specialist Factual, and Sreya Biswas, Head of Natural History at BBC Commissioning greenlighted the series. Roger Webb serves as the Executive Producer, with Scott Alexander taking on the role of Series Producer.
