Wuthering Waves is an upcoming game from the makers of Punishing: Grey Raven

A story rich open world game is in the works!

Kuro Game, the makers of Punishing: Grey Raven, the insanely popular fast-paced action RPG, has now announced a brand-new upcoming title, called Wuthering Waves. Set in the aftermath of some tragedy named Rover, it contains a deep story. It has converted the world into an industrial wasteland.

Experience an open-world RPG with complete freedom in Wuthering Waves

The trailer itself shows off an engaging segment of the story, in which, someone who seems to be the protagonist, is running away from a spreading sheet of smoke, hiding the horrid inside it. The game will apparently have an experience where players would be free to make their own decisions. The residents of the area are skilled fighters with special mystical powers.

The game’s official website is up, which is only in Chinese for now. The end of the trailer has a date too, which is the 27th of May, 2022. This is possibly when we’ll get more information about the game and is only a day away. Along with the date, there’s a line that says “Let the echo be heard”

The devs are yet to mention a global release date

Aside from this, not much else is known right now. However, considering the fact that the game is being developed by Kuro Game, players can expect a good experience. The announcements which would come on the 27th, will probably shed more light on the game and increase the hype, as a lot of people are already tuned in, as suggested by the view count on the official trailer. The game is coming to mobile devices and pre-registration is open on TapTap, although, the developer isn’t on board with the project.
