Keep in mind that these rankings are based on my own experiences, so don’t hesitate to tailor your choices to match your personal preferences.

Best Empire Fallener – Natalie
In my experience, Natalie is a standout Fallener in Whisper of Shadow because of her potent abilities that amplify magic damage and control over enemies. Her Flame Field skill boosts magic damage by 20% and has a chance to inflict Burn on all enemies, with additional chances to stun burned targets.
This makes her a reliable choice for dealing with consistent damage and disrupting enemy tactics. Her ultimate skill, The Phoenix, deals heavy magic damage to all enemies and can inflict Fear on burned foes, enhancing her role in crowd control.
Best Heresy Fallener – Angola
From what I’ve seen, Angola is considered one of the best in the game because he excels in dealing with high physical damage and controlling enemies effectively. His skills enhance his attack power significantly, with abilities like Angola’s Revenge boosting his damage output by 20%.
His talent further increases his attack and critical rate, making him a consistent threat in battles. Sin Transmit allows him to gain a critical rate when attacking fearful targets, while his Painful Attack skill deals substantial damage and has a high chance to inflict Fear, weakening enemies’ attack and defense.
Best Parasite Fallener – Lamia
In my experience, Lamia is also one of the best Falleners in the game because she excels in dealing magic damage and controlling enemies. Her abilities boost magic damage by 20% and grant her an increased critical rate against Plague-afflicted targets.
Lamia’s basic attacks reliably apply Weaken to Plague-infected enemies, weakening their defense significantly. Her main skill, Serpent Thunder, deals substantial magic damage to key enemy positions while spreading Plague and potentially causing injury, which hampers enemy movement and reduces their defense further.
Best Primal Light Fallener – Aether
From what I’ve seen, Aether is one of the best Falleners in Whisper of Shadow because he enhances physical damage by 20% and grants allied Warriors a 20% Crit Rate boost. His Talent provides significant HP and ATK bonuses, making him durable and powerful.
Aether’s Winner’s Pose skill ensures he gains Brilliant at the start of each turn, increasing damage dealt by 20% with each critical hit, which stacks up to five times. His main skill, Sky Break, deals massive damage to the row with the most enemies and gains an additional Crit Rate if Brilliant is active.
Best Ancient Dark Fallener – Lilith
In my experience, Lilith stands out as one of the best Falleners in Whisper of Shadow due to her ability to increase Magic Damage by 20% and gain Vampire Embrace with every healing, granting her ATK, Crit Rate, and SPD boosts that last throughout battles.
She also benefits all Messengers with Vampire Kiss V, allowing them to recover 50% of damage dealt as HP. Her main skill, Blood Burst, deals significant Magic Damage to a front enemy and inflicts Erosion, increasing the target’s damage taken.
