Scopely’s fun casual title MONOPOLY GO is slowly rolling out a feature named the Daily Login Limit in the game across all platforms, which brings a limit to logging out and logging off from the game.
The Daily Login Limit in MONOPOLY GO is an issue for iPad users
With this new login restriction mentioned now, MONOPOLY GO has reportedly begun rolling out a remote patch that limits daily logins, although I am not sure for what regions this has already been updated. With this, users will receive a warning after three login attempts, and after five attempts, they will be locked out for 24 hours.
While this patch was likely intended to preserve the stability of servers and ensure that everyone plays games fairly, it has kinda has put in front a big wall in front of some of the players, especially those who use a single device to use multiple devices. Well, I still feel this is the right choice as this is masked as cheating, but it is concerning for some players.
Specifically, the update has proven rather frustrating for iPad users, as it causes them to log out unexpectedly during the middle of gameplay. With the frequent logging back in, they hit the new limit very fast. This is yet to be addressed by the makers since this might be flagged as cheating too, and is an issue for players who invest a lot in the game.
Overall, this development will be something very confusing for a while, but users not on iPad better not switch accounts multiple times in a day and keep their gameplay consistent on one account.
