Blue Lock PWC: The Complete Gacha System Guide

Test out your gacha luck!

Rudel Incorporation has launched Blue Lock PWC, a sports simulation game inspired by the popular anime Blue Lock. The game is now available globally on both Android and iOS devices. This Blue Lock PWC Gacha system guide will cover the various gacha banners, detailing the rates and chances for each banner. For newcomers, I also have a beginner’s guide, reroll guide, tier list, tips on earning blue gems, and a customer support guide to help you get started smoothly. Furthermore, you can read my game review and discover some in-game redeem codes for extra rewards that players can enjoy.

Blue Lock PWC Gacha System Explained

In Blue Lock PWC’s Gacha System, the highest-grade character or card you can obtain is a 3-star Character. The game features a wide range of characters, each showcasing their distinct strengths. Notably, the Gacha System prioritizes acquiring characters, aiming to secure those with the most impressive stats. Additionally, certain characters are available in different rarities, including 1-star, 2-star, or 3-star versions.

As you progress through the main story quests in Blue Lock PWC, the game strategically introduces certain characters and teams to specific events and updates. This approach ensures a cohesive and immersive narrative experience, highlighting the importance of building the right team and employing strategic tactics. Here are the drop rates for characters of various rarities in Blue Lock PWC:

RarityDrop Rate
3-star3.5%
2-star30%
1-star66.5%

In Blue Lock PWC’s Gacha system, 1-star and 2-star rarity drops are more common, while 3-star characters are the rarest and most challenging to obtain. The drop rates for 3-star players stand at 3.5%, which is better than some games with lower rates but still falls within an average range. Since both featured and non-featured characters are part of the same banner, the probability of getting a specific character decreases significantly.

In summary, while the rates for Blue Lock PWC banners are reasonable, there’s no guarantee of easily obtaining rare characters due to the small chances and reliance on luck.

What is the Pity in Blue Lock PWC

To guarantee getting a character in Blue Lock PWC, you need to do 15 multi-summons to get one copy of the new unit or card released. After that, you’ll need 20 multis to get another copy. Additionally, some various chances or boosts can occur randomly during pulls.

Super Chance increases the rate of 3-star players, Ultimate Chance guarantees a 3-star player, and Special Scout Mode activates periodically to boost the drop rate of 3-star players for a limited time. You can also earn Exchange Points with each Scout pull, which can be traded for items at the Trading Post before they convert into Blue Lock Coin.

List of Scouts in Blue Lock

1. Blue Lock PWC Beginner Support Scout

The Beginner Support Scout in Blue Lock PWC is a limited-time offer that helps new players get a head start in the game. When you register, you get a free x11 Scout, which means you can do one multi-summon for free. This first try has a 1.5x higher chance of getting a 3-star player compared to other regular Scouts.

If you use this x11 Scout, it activates a special mode called Special Scout Mode. This mode boosts the drop rate of exclusive 3-star players for 30 minutes after activation. This Scout is available for 7 days after registration, and you can do it up to 10 times in total. However, you won’t earn Exchange Points from this Scout. It’s a great way to kickstart your collection with stronger players to build your team early on!

The Featured Player Scout in Blue Lock PWC offers a higher drop rate for a specific featured and new 3-star character. However, this Scout is limited in time, and once it ends, the featured character becomes unavailable unless the Scout reruns in the future. When you perform an x11 Scout during this event, it can activate Special Scout Mode periodically.

This mode boosts the drop rate of 3-star players for 30 minutes after activation, giving you a better chance to get the featured character. Additionally, you earn Exchange Points with each Scout pull, which can be traded for items at the Trading Post. However, these Scout Exchange Points have a time limit. If not used in time, they will be converted into Blue Lock Coins after the time limit expires.

The Double Featured Scout in Blue Lock PWC is one of the more flexible banners. It allows you to freely choose two featured units from any banner in the game, in addition to the new unit. This means there are two spots where you can select any character you want. During the Double Featured Player Scout, there’s a higher drop rate for the two chosen 3-star players. When a 3-star player drops, there’s a 36% chance it will be one of the two featured players you selected.

Similar to other Scouts, using an x11 Scout during this event can activate Special Scout Mode periodically. This mode boosts the drop rate of 3-star players for 30 minutes after activation, increasing your chances of getting the desired characters. Similar to the featured banner, you earn Exchange Points with each Scout pull, which can be traded for items at the Trading Post.

4. Blue Lock PWC Ticket Scout

The Blue Lock PWC Ticket Scout presents a reliable avenue to secure a guaranteed 2-star or 3-star character with each ticket used. Unlike other banners where Blue Gems are the primary currency, this scout exclusively utilizes tickets.

These tickets are typically earned through participating in events, reaching important milestones, or receiving rewards. While this banner may not be as frequently utilized as others, it serves as a valuable means to claim a character of guaranteed rarity, ensuring you can bolster your teams with reliable additions.

Final Thoughts

In summary, Blue Lock PWC’s gacha system provides players with multiple avenues to acquire powerful characters, including coveted 3-star characters featured in different banners. While some aspects like the drop rates and chances may vary between banners, players can leverage special events like the Beginner Support Scout, Featured Player Scout, and Double Featured Scout to enhance their chances of obtaining desired characters.
