Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), arguably India’s most popular mobile game, has announced the BGMI Awards 2024, a ceremony for the game’s vibrant community and its top-tier content creators and talents. BGMI’s publisher, KRAFTON recently announced the first-ever and first-of-its-kind game awards ceremony. This piece will discuss everything about this new and exciting awards function.
Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) Awards 2024: Watch your favorite gamers battle it out
As per KRAFTON, it is not just any ordinary awards ceremony. The BGMI Awards 2024 Awards are a month-long celebration within the game itself. India’s top 30 gaming influencers are shortlisted for this awards show. These influencers have been divided into three different categories. These categories are:
JOD Creators
This is an award category that has been allotted for content creators. Personalities like Mortal, Lolzzz Gaming, Dynamo, Shreeman Legend, Joker Ki Haveli, Regaltos‘ have been nominated for this award category.
Fashion Ke Deewane
India’s top female gaming creators such as Payal, Kaashvi, and Krutika will find themselves in the Battlegrounds to battle it out for the “Fashion Ke Deewane” award.
Esports Game Changers
Last, but not the least, this category of “Esports Game Changers” will have the mightiest BGMI Esports athletes like Jonathan, Scout, and Goblin.
During the event, all these influencers will be seen on the banners and billboards both in-game and outside the game too. The ceremony has already been kicked off at an exclusive offline BGMI Awards Pre-show in Goa from the 3rd of June, 2024 to the 6th of June, 2024.
BGMI Awards 2024: How to vote for your favorite creators
The main event is already live within the game. Starting on the 8th of June, players can log in to BGMI, complete certain missions, and earn special vote tokens. These tokens will then allow them to vote for your favorite influencers. Players can also win rewards for voting for their favorite creators. Another way of getting vote tokens is playing and winning classic mode matches with friends, playing certain maps like the Karakin. You can also win tokens by winning arena mode matches.
A player can give 10 votes to their favorite influencer, we can also give votes to multiple creators. After casting votes using the tokens, you can redeem the Violet Buccaneer Set and the cover with the remaining tokens, it will only cost 2500 tokens in total.
Voting Timelines
- JOD Creator Voting: June 8th – June 18th
- Fashion Ke Deewane Voting: June 21st – July 1st
- Esports Game Changers Voting: July 4th – July 14th
At the end of the event, the winners in each category will claim the prestigious BGMI Awards trophy.
