The r/ClashRoyale Reddit community always has some unique ideas, especially on the card concept. This time, a new card concept has emerged that is simpler than the previous ones yet equally intriguing. The Clash Royale fan shared a Boulder concept card that, um, doesn’t actually do anything when lodged, but is a distraction to the troops coming at your towers. Confused? We have an explanation.
The Boulder card is a spell that has three bounces before lodging
The plan pitched is the Boulder card, which is rocky and of course, cannot attack or spam any troops outside. Although the card isn’t very creative or out of the box, it is simple and effective considering how the game is currently. u/TheHolySparky suggests a spell card here, which costs a mere one elixir. The card may be explained simply: if Bowler’s Boulder were a card, this would be it.
It is heavy, and before lodging firmly to the ground, it bounces on the arena thrice. It does deal a good amount of damage, with the last hit damage summing up the first and second hits, as well as a knockback ability. By the looks of it, it appears to be overkill, but if added, it has the potential to become one of the strongest spells in the game.
Good ideas are well received, and this was no exception. It currently has 2.5k upvotes and a significant amount of comments, the majority of which are positive. Not to mention the “diamond pass exclusive” remarks that have become the norm under any notion. Just like we have mentioned, people have pointed out that this card is cheap and may be far too unbalanced.
Although we might not see this card coming into existence anytime soon, it is really a good concept and can work if there are some changes. The community once again demonstrated its inventiveness in coming up with excellent thoughts like these with another new concept proposal.
