The two English voice actors namely Zach Aguilar who voices a character called Aether and Elliot Gindi who voices Tighnari recently streamed and discussed the voice direction for a certain character namely Tighnari in Genshin Impact.
The newest character from Sumeru, Tighnari, which is available on the Standard Banner in Genshin Impact is reportedly derived from the Middle Eastern culture. Although, Elliot Gindi who also belongs from the Middle East region and is well versed with the Arabic pronunciations, unfortunately, have never heard the Arabic elocution of Tighnari and thus faced problems pronouncing the name.
Also in addition, English speaking audiences may also face difficulty in understanding the pronunciation of the new character and as a result voice actors are asked to pronounce names in a relatively easier way for the localized English speaking audience.
