AMD Skyesports Streamers Showdown 2022: Creators, Prize pool, Format and more

Skyesports has announced the tournament of AMD Skyesports Streamers Showdown for the year 2022. It will feature 24 of India’s best creators competing in Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) for glory, who will be able to get a share of the prize pool of 15 lakhs. The 9-day event will happen from the 7th of July, 2022 to the 15th of July, 2022. For creators, it will provide an intensity never before seen in an Esports tournament.

Creators play a very important role in the ecosystem and we are thrilled to bring an event worthy of these stars. The Skyesports Streamers Showdown’s Rs. 15 lacs prize pool and sophisticated format sets it apart from any other content creator event and will provide a level of entertainment which fans have never seen before.

Presented by AMD and powered by Rooter, AMD Skyesports Streamers Showdown 2022 will feature creators like Ghatak, Kronten, Maxtern, Vaadhiyaar, Sharkshee, GodL Rebel, Midfail YT, Blind Psycho, Ruchir Jha, Guru Gaming, Spower, Vivone, Eagle Gaming, Natasha Gaming, Crow, Kaztro Shreeman legend and Lolzzz. Each creator will form a team of four players.

Format and Prize pool

The event will kick off with the Launch Party on the 7th and 8th of July, 2022, with all 24 teams competing. The League Stage will come next on the 9th, 10th, and 11th of July, 2022. 24 teams will fight in a round-robin style here, where six matches will be played in a day, summing up to a total of 18 matches. The Finals will see the top 16 clubs from the League Stage. It will take place over four different dates from the 12th to the 15th of July, 2022.

The prize pool split for each stage is as follows:

  • Launch Party: Rs. 1 lac
  • League Stage: Rs. 1.5 lac
  • Finals: Rs. 12.5 lacs

Where to watch the AMD Skyesports Streamers Showdown 2022

The tournament will be streamed on Skyesports’ YouTube and Rooter feeds in a total of 6 different languages. On each matchday, the stream will start at 12:30 PM IST. The competition will be broadcast in English, Hindi, Tamil, Bengali, Kannada, and Malayalam for viewers.
