Krafton has announced the BGMI Rising 2023 launch party tournament, which will begin on the 1st of June this year and will last for four days, ending on June 4th. The creators have organized this event under the hashtag #RejoiceTheComeback to commemorate the return of the popular battle royale to the Indian market, which will be the first Esports event since BGMI’s controversial ban last year.
BGMI Rising 2023 Participating Teams and Schedule
64 star-studded teams will be invited to compete in BGMI Rising in an intense battle for four days, where they all will eye for the grand prize of the first tournament since the relaunch. The participating teams are categorized into four different groups, 16 each in one.

The teams will compete in a 1v1 format for the first two days, with 32 teams moving to the Semifinals on the third day. After the 16 teams are selected from the 32, the Grand Final will take place on June 4, where the final showdown will take place.
The first knockout phase will feature 12 matches, which will also include four challenge battles. On the Semi Final day, there will be seven matches, including one challenge battle. On the final day, there will be seven games, including two challenge matches.
BGMI Rising 2023 Prize Pool
With 64 teams competing, the battle for the top position and clinching the top spot has never been thrilling before. The top three teams will be distributed among the share of INR 5 lakhs, while there are other prize amounts for other categories as well.

The launch party tournament BGMI Rising will be undoubtedly the first of many Esports events that will take place after the relaunch. The revival of BGMI in India has signaled a substantial resurgence of the country’s esports landscape, which will continue to grow once more players get into the scene.
