Hyderabad Nawabs are the Free Fire City Open (FFCO) India 2021 champions

The champions gets a lion's share of approximately $80,000!

After showing some epic fights filled with intensity and non-stop action, Hyderabad Nawabs was crowned the champions of the Free Fire City Open (FFCO) India 2021 tournament. It was a pleasure to the eyes of the viewers, as the champion team has won the title by a minimal margin of 1 point only. Besides capturing the crown, the team claimed the first prize of INR 15,00,000.

Delhi Titans and Lucknow Tigers finished the tournament becoming the runner-up and third respectively. The runner-up team took home an amount of INR 7,50,000 and another INR 5,00,000 was bagged by Lucknow Tigers.

In its three-month-long journey of 8 City Finals, the City Play-Ins Finals, and the Wildcard Finals, 12 teams managed to qualify themselves for the final round of FFCO. A total of 6 matches with two matches per map, were played across three maps that are Bermuda, Purgatory, Kalahari. The showdown of best teams ended with Hyderabad Nawabs being crowned the champions.

The champion team accumulated 44 rank points and 29 kill points. This counts up to a total of 73 points from their six matches. No team could win BOOYAH more than once. But, Hyderabad Nawabs managed to put a consistent performance and took the title.

The first match brought 23 points and worked as a booster for the team. Though the second match didn’t go according to their plans, they covered up the damage in the last four matches. The runners-up team kept on piling pressure on the champions. However, the team from the City of Pearls emerged victorious with a narrow lead of a single point.

Finally, Garena is running with excellence as they’re continuously arranging top-tier tournaments. Fans surely will wait for the next championships because the action doesn’t stop here. The registration for the Free Fire India Championship 2021 is starting on the 16th of August, 2021.
